Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad the script helped save the day! I don't have a script like that currently, but can probably create one here in the next few days. Can you tell me a little more about what you're trying to achieve? Just wondering if this is really the best route for what you want to do....

Hi there Nick,

I'd just like to thankyou for getting me out of a big hole at work. I was using SCCM 2012 to sequence an upgrade of a package. Because of the softwares nasty design I had to uninstall and install the latest version, also and most importantly the old software left string values which conflicted with the new software in each HKCU. Your script removed them in the best possible way and allowed me to continue with the deployment.

Can I just ask, as I am no expert in scripting at all. Would you have anything along the same lines that would say backup the ntuser.dat files to a specific or remote location, maybe with unique folder names like;

[Computer1]
       \
        [{SID} / Username1]
        [{SID} / Username 2]
        [{SID} / Username 3]

I can use net use to create the path, was just thinking is there any way to formulate the backup of numerous PC registries.

Thanks again for the help!
